The first thing that might come to mind might be is ‘isn’t it easier just to book online with Expedia’, while that may be a little bit faster you will find that in most cases we are better priced and able to add extra benefits (such as complimentary breakfast and upgrades) when booking with us.

We have access to special offers
When putting together your quote we will be sure to notify you of any special offers. These can include:
- Stay Longer Promotion: A number of hotels and resorts participate in the ‘Stay Longer’ promotion. This could work as staying 2 nights and getting the third night free or staying three nights getting the fourth night free and so on.
- Advance Purchase – making your reservation in advance can we a discount of around 20%
- Guaranteed Upgrades – in some cases room and suite upgrades can be guaranteed at the time of booking.
- Complimentary Add-Ons – some properties to offer complimentary add-ons such as airport transfers, local experiences, food and beverage tastings, and so on.
ISN’T IT EASIER FOR ME JUST TO BOOK ONLINE, ALL MY DETAILS ARE SAVED TO THE HOTEL BOOKING SITE AND IT TAKES MINUTES
This is a valid point.
The first obvious here is by booking online you won’t get hundreds of dollars worth of Virtuoso benefits.
Bookings with Clements Travel don’t take long at all and once we have your details the reservation only takes a few minutes to make. We save your details in our system so you never have to repeat them again which makes your next bookings effortless.
One more thing to consider, many hotel booking websites can be impossible to get through on the phone and when you do get through you are speaking to a call center. Booking with Clements Travel means that we will pick up the phone or answer your email as fast as possible and take responsibility for your request or question. The person who made your booking is usually the one dealing with your query.
Can I book hotels online while still get benefits and discounts?
While we do have the functionality to allow clients to do an online booking, we have not activated this feature. The simple reason is Clements Travel is all about service and we like to be hands one with each and every single booking. For example, all our bookings are advanced with the hotel in advance so that any special requests and occasions are noted.
For the above reasons you might find that booking luxury hotels online is not possible a lot of the time.
How is payment made?
Payment is usually made by credit card to the hotel directly when you check-in. The only time this doesn’t apply is if your reservation is for during peak times or if you’re booking a luxury hotel then a deposit may be asked for but we will be sure to let you know about this when we send you a quote.
do i still get hotel loyalty points?
The answer is yes, you will still get hotel loyalty points just as you would if you booked through the hotel directly. We can even add your loyalty program number to your reservation at the time of booking.
